So the code-writing part of blogging is new to me, however it’s clear there is a lot of potential to be explored over winter break. However, shortly there should be a sub-category of posts to the right that will have explanations of things within the site, since items such as the links are just as important to me for purposes of discussion, exposition, etc. I just need to figure out how to do it without erasing the whole blog.

For now, I have five sets of links that I hope to explain in more depth, however here is the general breakdown with some highlights:

1. Primary Blogs: These are for the most part, normal blogs that I read daily-some from people I know, and some not. Post Secrets is amazing, new every Sunday. The Democracy Shot should become a lot more active come winter as well.

2. Law Blogs: For those who read my recent article in the law school monthly, most of those blogs are here-I pretty much only included ones I read regularly. Underneath Their Robes and California Appellate Review are great.

3. Interesting Sites: This is a hodgepodge of links that are things that interest me, drive me, are useful to me, or are just weird. Basically, it’s the beginning of a directory to use instead of my bookmarks which I use more for spur of the moment marking, or for research. Included here are my passions of micro-banking and international debtor law (Hernando de Soto), master Hemingway and other lost generation and after writers, where I am attempting to get Absinthe from-short of going back to Spain myself, my beloved Skycars-this is what I would have done had I kept pursuing engineering, and a strange yet fascinating artist-can you find me?

4. Guitar Tabs: This is me being vain and showing that I can stumble through guitar tabs. Well, and I thought this was a creative way to show what music I’m into right now since I lost that feature from the old blog, and finally since I don’t carry my binder around with me, it’s a quick way to organize my music online for quick viewing.

5. Favorite Cities: Can’t afford that vacation to the French Riviera this year? Well neither can I, so I came up with virtual touring. Okay, I’m sure others have thought of this too. Anyway, there are lots of message boards hosting the pictures people have taken on trips and I just took some of those links to some of the cities that I think are great. I’ve been to all of them listed except the African ones and Rio de Janeiro-of course, the most exotic ones. Anyway, fun for long stretches of studying to supplement daydreaming.

Um, so there you have it, for now. Look for updates to this lineup in the future-though probably not too many for the next month beyond posts complaining about finals.
